How do you use sugar scrub?
All you need to do it scoop a little it, maybe less than a tablespoon, of sugar scrub into your hands and rub it together. Then rinse with warm water.
I don’t think that you normally wash it off with soap BUT I prefer to wash my hands (or whatever body part) with soap after the sugar scrub to remove some of the oil but I know a lot of people don’t.
I really love to use this DIY sugar scrub on my elbows, hands and lips.
You can also add it to a bath for a bit of relaxation and exfoliation!
If you want to make this sugar scrub for a gift, I made a cute little label that you can download and print. I printed it onto sticker paper and cut it out with my Circut machine but you could also print it on regular paper, print it out and glue or tape it onto the lid.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, You want to use a culinary safe lavender since you’ll be putting this on your skin. Sometimes decorative lavender will have chemicals added to boost scent and you don’t want to rub that all over your skin.
You want to make sure that you’re using a skin safe essential oil. Make sure to check the label and package on the oil you want to use because there are some oils that are not appropriate for use on skin.
You don’t have to use the Vitamin E oil for sugar scrub but I love it.
I normally store my homemade sugar scrubs in plastic jars with lids because I have a 4 year old haha, but you could store them in mason jars or really any type of jar that has a lid.
