When the weather starts to get cooler it’s time to set up the Hot Chocolate Bar! Grab some mugs, some hot chocolate, peppermint sticks & mini marshmallows! Here are some ideas on How to Set Up the Perfect Hot Chocolate Bar!
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of TruMoo Chocolate Milk. All opinions are 100% mine.
Here’s what I sit out when I’m putting together my Hot Chocolate Bar:
- A variety of colorful mugs or Christmas mugs
- Pretty glass jars of mini peppermint marshmallows
- Glass jars of regular mini marshmallows
- A few jars of mini chocolate chips
- A large jar of peppermint sticks
- TruMoo Chocolate milk
Let’s start with the main thing that you’re going to need for any hot chocolate bar, the hot chocolate. For this hot chocolate bar TruMoo is the chocolate milk of choice! There is no mixing required and it heats up in a jiffy in the microwave or in a sauce pan on the stove top.
Once you’ve filled your favorite mug with the Hot/Warm TruMoo Chocolate Milk it’s time to add in your mix-ins and toppings.
I’ve set out little jars of mini peppermint marshmallows and regular mini marshmallows, so scoop up some of those and toss them onto the top of the hot chocolate.
You’ll also want to toss on a few mini chocolate chips…or don’t…more for me if you leave them behind but I highly recommend them.
That’s all you need for the perfect Hot Chocolate Bar. It doesn’t need to be fancy to make an impression and to be fun.
You just need hot chocolate, a few mix in and the people you love.
Such a fun idea! We’re having a kids party next weekend – I think I’m going to do this! Thanks for sharing!
I love the idea of a hot chocolate bar! Thanks for sharing.
How cute is this?! What a fun post! And now I’m going to go make myself and my kids some hot chocolate! 🙂
This is so ironic because I was just looking up last night how to do a hot chocolate bar! Such a great idea for a party!
Heck yeah, this sounds like a plan to me! I could totally cozy up with a mug next to a fire with a book – but this hot chocolate bar would make for such a fun girl’s night, too!
This is so adorable!! I haven’t made hot chocolate in so long, you’re totally inspiring me to change that. 🙂
Such a cute idea. Love the snowman mug. And the hot chocolate too of course. 🙂
I love it! I’ll be doing it for a cold winter night when were having a family night. Thanks for making life a little simpler. Love the idea of the trumoo.
This is such a fun idea for a holiday party or for a cold day when you’re craving something sweet!
Hot chocolate bars are so much fun. I was just at one the other day for my great nieces 1st birthday party!
LOVE the idea of a hot chocolate bar! Every month is hot chocolate month here, too. 🙂
Love this. Any “make-your-own” assembly line for get togethers is such a fun update to a regular old buffet. Delicious, too!
Did you use chocolate milk at your wedding. I have a west bend coffee maker, I was wanting to use it to make hot chocolate for my son’s wedding. How do you think that would work?
Hey! We had hot chocolate with milk and water (labeled both) and I just used the little thermal pitchers things but a west bend coffee maker would probably work. I’ve never used one though. We just had someone make it before the reception and put it in the thermal pitchers and such.
what are the clips you used for the chalkboard labels
The clips? Which ones are you talking about? There aren’t any clips that I can remember 🙂 They had twine connected to them that I hung around the lip of the jars. Is that what you meant?
