Last Minute Halloween Bark

Sometimes people try to over complicate things.

Things like desserts. You don’t have to spend 500 hours on a dessert for a party or goodie bag. I mean, you can….if that’s your thing.

However, I love to share ideas for sweet treats that take minutes to put together. Sometimes it’s just fun to toss something sweet together.

Then there are sometimes when people over complicate simple desserts…like chocolate bark.

Last Minute Halloween Bark

Chocolate bark is probably one of the easiest sweet treats to make! It’s fun for a party and it’s adorable packaged up with a little bit of ribbon to give out to friends and family!

That’s one thing I miss about living in the apartment. When the holidays rolled around, I would package up all kinds of treats and leave them on my friends/neighbors doors!

I don’t think walking down the road to leave things on my new neighbors’ doors would be the same haha.

Last Minute Halloween Bark

So I made this as a “Last Minute Halloween Bark”. I’m going to make some of it for our Halloween dinner that’s coming up and it’s probably going to be the easiest thing I make for the entire evening!

You spread out chocolate, sprinkle on the Halloween sprinkles and candy eyes and BOOM! It’s done and ready for a spooky evening of fun! I grabbed these fun sprinkles from Walmart. (Not Sponsored, just telling you where they came from)

They came in a giant tub and I think they were like $3. The candy eyes came from Wilton (they sent me some fun things for #HalloweenTreatsWeek) BUT I bet that the Halloween sprinkles from Sweets and Treats Shop would be so super cute for this bark!

I love the Farmer’s Market and Farm to Table meals but I’m also not ashamed to use canned vegetables and baking mixes. It’s all about balance! I’m so glad y’all are here!
