RECIPE IS BELOW IN PRINTABLE RECIPE CARD BUT BLOG POST IS FULL OF “HOW TO MAKE IT”, TIPS, INFORMATION AND FAQ
Melted witch desserts are so fun to make for Halloween! I started off making Melted Witch Hot Chocolate a few years ago and that went on to inspire Melted Witch Poke Cake and Melting Witch Brownies!
Plus, no churn ice cream recipes are always a favorite around here! So I thought that I would combine those two family favorites to make this fun Melted Witch Ice Cream!
Why You Should Make this Melted Witch Ice Cream…
- a great cold Halloween dessert recipe

(AMOUNTS IN RECIPE CARD BELOW)
How to make Melted Witch Ice Cream:
- Making Mini Witch Hats
Flip Fudge Stripe cookies over to chocolate side.
Use orange icing and pipe an icing blob on the center of the cookie.
Press a chocolate chip into the middle of the orange icing.
If you need some photos, I have a post on making the larger version of Witch Hat Cookies here - Chocolate Pieces for ice cream:
Melt chocolate almond bark according to package directions.
Stir in coconut oil to 1 cup melted almond bark until completely combined.
Spread chocolate and coconut oil mixture onto a sheet of parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Let chocolate harden for about 10 minutes.
Chop chocolate into tiny pieces and set aside.
Making the chocolate pieces like this will make them melt in your mouth when you’re eating the ice cream instead of being hard and crunch, icy pieces of chocolate. - Make the ice cream:
Whip together the heavy cream, and powder sugar in a large bowl, using an electric mixer on high speed, until stiff peaks form, 5 to 7 minutes. Add in extract and a few drops of green food coloring. Mix until combined.
Once mixed, taste and make sure the mint flavor is strong enough for you and look to make sure that you’re happy with the green color. -
Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk until incorporated. Fold in about 2 cups of the chopped chocolate bits.
-
Pour into a loaf pan and top with some chocolate bits. Add witch hats (or save them for serving!)
-
Freeze for several hours or overnight until frozen.
-
if you can’t find Mint Chocolate Chip Extract, you can also use mint extract but DO NOT USE PEPPERMINT! It is not the same.
