My Favorite Hot Chocolate from Whittard of Chelsea

I have champagne taste on a beer budget. I love all things fancy, decadent, and exquisite. Traveling? Please! I’d travel all the time if I could afford it. Champagnes and Strawberries for breakfast?! I was born for it. Walking down the streets London and sipping Lattes under the Eiffel Tower, been there done that and I’d do again and again and again if I could. But again with the “champagne taste on a beer budget” problem, that stuff comes in short burst and 90% of my life is that of the plain norm. haha.

So when I can add in little bits of indulgence throughout my week, I’m going in head first. That’s why I want to share these Hot Chocolates with you. Hot chocolate is one of the things I grew up with, we always had it in the house and my mom loves hot chocolate! It was one of those things we just had to have on cold nights!

Whittard of Chelsea is a fantastic English Tea Store  that I just have to share with you. They have over 125 years of experiences and they also have some of the best gourmet teas, coffees and hot chocolates. As soon I was asked if I wanted to try the Hot Chocolates from Whittard of Chelsea, I was jumping at the chance to pick through their flavors!

With flavors like: Crème Brûlée White Hot Chocolate, Rocky Road Hot Chocolate and Rhubarb White Hot Chocolate, I knew I had to snatch up a few of these Hot Chocolates  to take to the beach with us for our Christmas vacation. What sounds better than sipping on a hot cup of Rhubarb White Hot Chocolate while watching the waves roll in. Nothing, I tell you! Nothing! Ok… well maybe some things, but that’s not the point.

Let me tell you about these three flavors that I picked out. I’ll start off with the Praline White Hot Chocolate. We enjoyed a lot of this at the beach. At first I totally thought that this was going to be my favorite of the three, because I just thought that it couldn’t get any better. It does rank up there at the very top but I have more to share with you.

I am now hooked on White Hot Chocolate. We added candy canes to ours as stir sticks and wow, yes wow was my response.

The Luxury HOT Chocolate was another one that I picked out. This one was good. It was silky and smooth. If you love semi sweet or dark chocolate you will really, really like this one! I however am not a giant fan of semi sweet or dark chocolate, so it was not particularly one of my favorites.

But like I said before, if you like dark chocolate or semi sweet chocolate, you will LOVE this Luxury HOT Chocolate.

Now I’ve got to tell you about my absolute favorite Hot Chocolate from Whittard! The Rhubarb White Hot Chocolate! I thought the first white hot chocolate was my favorite, but this trumps that. (in a good way) haha

It’s smooth, creamy and sinfully wonderful! I swear it tasted like I melted a White Chocolate Candy Bar into my milk! I added a Chocolate Mint Candy Cane as my stirred and pretty much drank perfection.

I wish you all were here to try some of these with us. BigBear’s eyes literally lit up when he tasted the  Rhubarb White Hot Chocolate. I loved the expression he made haha.

So, what’s your favorite flavor of hot chocolate? Do you try different kinds or do you stick to the regular hot coco? Do you use anything neat as a “stir stick”? Candy canes? Chocolate covered pretzels?

**I was sent samples of Hot Chocolate from Whittard of Chelsea that I picked out, but as always these opinions are 100% mine (and BigBear’s)**
