I’ve seen these little signs popping up all over “blog land”, so I had to check it out and see what all the fuss was about.
Seems like Pottery Barn had a pretty awesome “NOEL” wall decor item for sale….. for a whopping $150.00. AHH…
OK sorry but as pretty as it was, I could NEVER bring myself to buy a $150.00 item to hang on my wall… I don’t have that kind of money… and even if I did, I wouldn’t waste it on that.

So with the directions from a few other blogs, I headed to Hobby Lobby to pick up the supplies to make my very Own “NOEL” Wall Decor… for a total of $8.00! Go me. 🙂

What you need:
Wooden N (Got mine at Hobby Lobby for $1.99
Wooden O(Got mine at Hobby Lobby for $1.99
Wooden E (Got mine at Hobby Lobby for $1.99
Wooden L (Got mine at Hobby Lobby for $1.99
Brown Paint (or whatever color you want) ( I used Brown Acrylic Paint) (had this already)
Sponge Paint Brush (Had this already)

What to do:

Paint your letters

Let Dry (I did 3 coats and let it dry over night)

After it is dry, Flip you letters over and arrange them into the correct position. (I put the O at an angle because that’s how the original Pottery Barn sign was)

Using Hot Glue and Popsicle sticks, glue your letters together. (I used the Popsicle sticks to anchor the letters together (see photos)

Let Dry for a few minutes and Voila! All Done.

You’ll have an adorable “NOEL” sign that didn’t cost you an arm or a leg ;).
