How to make Nutella Popsicles at home:
Let’s start off by gathering our ingredients and supplies together.
Of course you’ll need the milk, Nutella and Cool Whip but you’ll also need a Popsicle Molds and Popsicle sticks. You don’t have to use the same ice cream mold as this one but I love the classic look of these. You can use any ice cream mold you want.
We use to use Dixie Cups and Popsicles sticks to make popsicles when we were kids.
In a mixer, combine the milk and cool whip.
Add in the Nutella and whisk until smooth.
We don’t need to really whip this to be super thick like ice cream, just make sure it is all combined and smooth.
Pour into mold and freeze for 6-10 hours.
When ready to serve, run the mold under warm water to loosen the pops.
If you just pull hard on the sticks they will come out without the popsicle!
Loosen them with the warm water to the point where they easily slide out of the molds.

These look fabulous and we are big Nutella fans at my house. I just have to repeat something I saw somewhere that is stuck in my head…You can’t make everyone happy, you’re not a jar of Nutella! lol

I freaking love nutella & cool whip. I’m like you, I have to buy an extra tub every time. I know I’m going to be sneaking huge spoonfuls, without a doubt. These look amazing.

Do you think this will work with almond milk?
Adriana Contreras says
This only made 6 popsicles for me with Original Silk Almond Milk. I also have the same popsicle mold as you. Cannot wait to try them! 🙂

Hey! Sorry I was out of town and didn’t have access to a computer so I didn’t see your comment until today. So sorry! So how did they turn out with the almond milk? I’ve never thought to make them with that. I wonder why it only filled up 6 using the almond milk instead of regular milk.

This might sound silly.. Did you use a kitchen aid mixer or can you use the blender?
Angie says
Hey! Not silly question haha. I used a kitchen aid stand mixer but you could also use a hand mixer or just a whisk and bowl. I just pretty much use my mixer for everything haha
Jamie says
Hi there,
I just made these but the Nutella, Cool Whip, and milk separated out into layers. It still tastes great, but I was wondering if you had this issue and how you solved it?
Thanks!
Angie says
Yikes! I’ve never had that happen and I’ve made these quite a few times. Maybe it needed to be mixed a little longer until everything was combined? I can’t imagine it separating like that after it’s whipped all together and smooth. (I’m not saying it didn’t, I’m just wondering why)
Julie @ Back To My Southern Roots says
Making this for the kids. It’s so hot down here in Florida, so these will be perfect!
Tyler says
Hey, I made these and the popsicle molds I used didn’t stick to the popsicle stick when I took them out of the freezer. I am wondering if I did something wrong?
Angie says
DO you mean that the ice cream didn’t stick to the popsicle stick? If so, that means they were not frozen long enough or hard enough to be ready to pull out.
Penny says
Omgosh! I made this last evening…soooo easy. They were ready today and absolutely delicious. This is a keeper. I did buy and use the molds from the link on this site and am very happy with the results. I’ll be making these alot. It’s been in the 100’s here.
