Easy homemade Blackberry Yogurt Popsicles that you need to stock your fridge with! They’re a healthy frozen treat  that’s perfect for summer!

Blackberry Yogurt Popsicle

Summer is upon us y’all and it’s hot as Hades out there. Ok, well it’s not officially summer year and it’s been hot here for like the past two months but you know what I mean.

The humidity is keeping everything down here in the south sticky as normal but we’re trying to keep cool with lots of A/C, Sweet tea and popsicles.

Blackberry Yogurt Popsicle

Y’all know that even thought I’m allowing myself some treats here and there, I’m doing pretty darn well with my goal of eating right. Doctors report last week confirmed that I’m down 14 pounds. Woot Woot! I’m so excited!

Blackberry Yogurt Popsicle

While I want to stay on the right path, I don’t want to give up things I love. I want to be able to eat what I want but I also know that my body is fighting against me every time I eat “something bad”.  So, what’s a girl to do when it’s 95F outside, the humidity is climbing roof and the thought of devouring an entire carton of ice cream won’t go away?

Blackberry Yogurt Popsicle (2)

She makes an ice cream that she doesn’t have to feel guilty about enjoying.

Ok, well, it’s not really ice cream but whatever. Ice cream, Popsicles….I lump them together.

Blackberry Yogurt Popsicle

So for my little #12bloggers post today I’ve got a Blackberry Yogurt Popsicle recipe for you! Fresh Blackberries, honey vanilla greek yogurt and a bit of honey is all you’re going to need! Oh….and patience….you’ll need a little patience for them to freeze up. hahahahaa

Ps. Here is the popsicle mold that I used.

Blackberry Yogurt Popsicles #12Bloggers Easy homemade popsicles that you need to stock your fridge with! They're a healthy frozen treat that's perfect for summer!

  • Prep Time: 5m
  • Total Time: 10h
  • Serves: 12
  • Yield: 12 popsicles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mashed blackberries + 24 whole blackberries to add in
  • 3 cups honey vanilla greek yogurt (or your favorite kind)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Plus a Popsicle mold (link for the one I used above the recipe) + Popsicle sticks if your mold doesn't have them

Instructions

  • Mix together the mashed blackberries and yogurt.
  • Whisk in the honey.
  • Pour mixture into popsicle mold - drop 1-2 blackberries into mold before and during pour -- and freeze for 8-12 hours or until frozen solid.

Way to go on your success! It’s hard for me to always eat right, especially in the summer (super hot in Arizona, too)! That’s when the ice cream comes into play. I love these yogurt-based pops! They’re so pretty and sound really tasty with those beautiful berries! Can’t wait to try these!

These look and sound woooonderful! We go blackberry picking every year (they grow everywhere here in western WA) and fill up our freezers with them. I’m definitely making these popsicles, yum!
