I found a recipe kind of like this in one of my cookbook, but that recipe called for onions and peppers which my husband and I don’t like.
So I took their idea and made my own version for us.
This is very, very good. It’s always inhaled at our house haha. I try to make an extra batch when I get everything together for this so that I can pack some for lunches!
One of my new favorites!
Paprika Steak and Rice
2 Tablespoons Butter
1 package cubed stew beef
3 tablespoons Paprika
Pinch Salt and Pepper
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 Cups Beef Broth
2 teaspoons Worcestershire
1 cup chopped mushrooms
Cooked Instant Rice+1 tablespoon Paprika
Melt Butter in a Large Sauce pan.
Brown the cubed stew beef.
While it is browning slice your mushrooms.
Once it is browned remove the beef from the skillet and place in a bowl. Set Aside.
Place the rest of the ingredients into the sauce pan. Mix and Saute until mushrooms are soft and liquid has reduced. You may need to add a little more beef broth until mushrooms are done.
Return Beef to pan and heat through-out.
Cook Rice according to package directions adding one tablespoon of Paprika after cooking is done.
Serve Over the Rice.
