I made these cute Pastel Swirl Strawberries Gender Reveal Party Strawberries a few years ago for my brother and sister in law’s gender reveal party and totally forgot to share them. I almost didn’t, but then again, I love them and thought someone else might like this idea too!
What you’ll need to make Pastel Swirl Covered Strawberries:
- fresh strawberries
- white chocolate candy coating
- pink candy coating
- light blue candy coating
Can I use any color for these swirl strawberries?
Of course!
Red and Pink for Valentines Day
Purple, Yellow and Pink would be great for Easter
Red, White and Blue would be great for the 4th of July
Orange and Black would be great for Halloween
Red and Green would be perfect for Christmas
I actually made some Marble dipped apples for Christmas one year and mixed the red and green swirls and they turned out great!
TIPS AND TROUBLESHOOTING:
Why the chocolate isn’t coating right:
- strawberries are too cold – chocolate won’t stick and will slide off of the berries
- Chocolate is too cold – chocolate will clump and not dip smooth
- Chocolate is too hot – chocolate will melt right off before it hardens
- Make sure to strawberries are 100% dry before trying to dip
- Stir and re-drizzle the accent colors after 2-3 berries

Pastel Swirl Covered Strawberries – Gender Reveal Party Strawberries
Know someone that's expecting a sweet baby soon and planning on a gender reveal? These Pastel Swirl Strawberries - Gender Reveal Party Strawberries are perfect for gender reveal parties or great just a a gift for the parents to be! Wash and completely dry strawberries. Lay out a piece of parchment paper or foil. You can use any colors you want for swirled strawberries but for this particular post we're going with pink and light blues. The white chocolate is the base for these strawberries while the pink and blue are the accent colors. Melt the candy coating, in separate bowls, according to the package directions. I melt mine in the microwave in 30 second bursts until melted and smooth. Divide white into two bowls. Once all of the chocolate is melted, drizzle a little bit of the pink chocolate onto the top of the white in the first bowl. Dip a strawberry down into the chocolate, twisting slowly just a bit. Then stop twisting and remove the strawberry from the chocolate. Set it onto the parchment paper to harden. Stir and re-drizzle the pink after every 2-3 strawberries. Dip 12 strawberries in the pink swirl chocolate. Then to the same steps but with the blue for the remaining 12. Let candy coating on strawberries harden before moving them.
