Rudolph Coke and Peanut Gift Box - Know someone in your life that loves the southern treat of Coke and Peanuts? They'd love this Rudolph Coke and Peanut Gift Box! Add a gift card and it'll be ready or Christmas Eve or any Dirty Santa Party!

December Y’all! December pretty much banging on the door now! Christmas is almost here and our apartment is filled with the holiday spirit! I’ve got teh tree up, I’ve ot the wreaths up and I’m already working on Christmas gifts and gift ideas!

I thought I’d also take some time this year to post a few little gift ideas on the blog for y’all too!

Today’s gift ideas is all about the favorite Southern Snack, “Peanuts and Coke”. I know that if you live in the south that you know at least one person if not multiple people that love to pop peanuts into their cokes.

Please tell me that your grandpa did that? haha Your dad? You KNOW you know someone that’s all about coke and peanuts.

Rudolph Coke and Peanut Gift Box

This little gift basket idea would be perfect for an office party or a Secret Santa gift exchange. It would also be perfect for he Dirty Santa game that some of us play during the holidays! Want to add a little something extra? Pop a gift card into the gift box or crate and its value will go right on up there.

Rudolph Coke and Peanut Gift Box

I found everything I needed for this project at my local Target but I’m sure you can find some of these items anywhere.

This wooden crate came from the dollar spot at Target. It’s big enough for everything in our little gift basket PLUS it’s got a bottle opener right there on the side. Perfect for our glass cokes in a bottle.

Did I ever tell y’all about my love for bottled cokes? I don’t drink a lot of soda, actually I hardly every drink soda but there is something about glass coke bottles that I can’t turn away from.  When we lived out in the boonies, I use to stop at this little country store called “Mills/Hyltons” almost every day. I would grab a  glass bottled coke and hoop cheese before headed home!

haha ok but back to the gift box.

I’ve got a list of what you need at the bottom of this post but here’s what I put into my “basket”….

Rudolph Coke and Peanut Gift Box

First, I put in two glass coke bottles. At Target you can get them in a 6 pack or buy them indiviually. I suppose it depends on how many gift baskets you’re going to make but I just bought the six pack and drank the others haha.

Then I added a cute little Rudolph push doll that I found in the Christmas section to the middle of the crate. They had Rudoplh, an elf and the abominable snowman so you could pick any plush that you wanted, I just really love Rudolph.

Then I bagged up about a cup or two of roasted peanuts in a clear baggie and tied it with a pretty little Christmas bow. I’ve been using this tutorial for my Christmas bows, but I don’t use a zip tie, I just tie it with a little piece of ribbon. haha.

So there is a bow on the peanut bag and then I stuck a bow on the front of the crate as well as a bow on the side under the bottle opener.

I also stuck one of the “North Pole Express Air Mail” stickers from my Popcorn Bucket Gift Idea onto the side of the crate to add even more Christmas flair.

If you want to bring the value of this little peanuts and coke gift basket up a little bit.  Add a little gift card to the front section and you’re good to go!

Okay, this is SUCH an adorable gift idea. I love the peanuts and Coke thing, though not being from the South, I didn’t learn about until I was grown. Coca cola peanut cake is the bomb! (And I totally had to Google “hoop cheese”). 😉
