Ready to make a splash with a super easy ocean themed dessert? You’ve to to make these Shark cake mix cookies! My niece Robyn is in love with Unicorns and she’s in love with sharks. I thought I’d make some cookies that I knew she would love!
I’m thinking that a plate of these and a plate of Unicorn cookies would be perfect for her birthday!
What you’ll need to make Unicorn Cookies Cake Mix Style:
- yellow cake mix
- eggs
- vegetable oil
- blue food coloring
- Shark sprinkles
I used these Shark Sprinkles from @candi.fetti
How to make the marble look:
Using yellow cake mix and blue food coloring will turn the batter green. Then add a few more drops of blue food coloring to the dough and slightly stir just to mix in some stripes of blue.
Can I use white cake mix instead?
You can but you’ll need to use green food coloring and blue food coloring for the marble look for the shark cookies.
Cookie decorating tip!
Sprinkle shark sprinkles on top of the cookie dough before it’s baked. This will make sure that the unicorn sprinkles are front and center on the beautifully baked unicorn cookies!
