Shrimp Stir Fry

I’ve been looking around for new recipes that are a little healthier than what I normally cook. I found this and we loved it. Maybe the soy sauce kills it with the sodium but just don’t use at much 😉 A new favorite in my book.

Shrimp Stir Fry

Makes 4 servings

What you need:

1 lb shrimp
1 lb broccoli
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon garlic
2 tablespoons sesame oil
10 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons cooking sherry
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
4 cups pasta (or enough pasta for 4 servings)

What to do:

De-vein and marinate shrimp with garlic, ginger and some sesame oil.

Mix together soy sauce, sherry, sugar and corn starch and set aside.

Stir fry veggies then add shrimp until cooked (when they turn pink) and add sauce (you don’t have to add ALL the sauce, add to your liking).  Heat for about 2-5 minutes. Spoon over pasta.
