Snow Mason Jar Candles are beautiful in my opinion.

I’ve seen them on blogs and on the web. I loved the ones I saw a few days ago on a fellow blogger’s site http://theinspiredroom.net/.

Melissa made some beautiful ones and she also used the idea of Epsom Salt for snow which is a great idea!

These were simple, easy and cheap! I love the ones I made and plan to incorporate them into my Holiday decorating.

Of course you don’t have to do “Snowy Christmas” ones, you could to any season or theme.

What you need::

Mason Jars (I got a pack of 1o at Goodwill for $2.00)
Craft Snow (non-flammable kind!)
Twine ($2.50 at hobby lobby)
Votive Candle Holder (Mine was 99 cents at Hobby Lobby)
Votive Candle (6 pack from the Dollar Tree)
Add ins for your Candle Decor (I used Cinnamon, a Christmas wreath decoration, and a wooden “SNOW” Piece

What to do:

Take your Mason Jar and Wrap Twine around the top rim and tie a knot.

Add your snow to the Jar

To get the votive candle holder to sit straight in the snow I had to use a wooden spoon to create a small “hole” in the snow to sit the candle into.

Add your votive Candle and Holder.
Now add on your decorations:
