Banana and Chocolate go hand in hand in desserts like these Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies! These cookies are doubled up on the banana flavor with mashed banana and banana extract added into the batter. They’re also super soft and packed with chocolate chips.
This recipe was created for Dixie Crystals by BigBear’sWife, post and words written are 100% mine as always.
I’m crazy about chocolate chip cookies. I know they’re super common and everyone has a chocolate chip cookie recipe that they love but they’re just so good! Ok, there are some chocolate chip cookies out there that I’m not fans of, like thin crunchy ones. However, I LOVE soft, SUPER SOFT, chocolate chip cookies.
I mean to be honest, if you want to get them to about right before they’re baked you’ve made my perfect cookie. I like to bake cookies just until they start to look like they’re done.
Oh man, now I want to go bake some cookies, y’all! Mainly, Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies!
YES! Oh Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies, y’all. I think banana and chocolate together is just a fantastic flavor combination!
You can tell that I love this flavor combo if you look through my dessert section of the blog because you’ll find all kinds of Banana Chocolate desserts like, Chocolate Banana Pudding Parfaits, Chocolate Banana S’mores Dip, Homemade Frozen Chocolate Covered Banana Bites, Banana Chocolate Ice Cream, and Chocolate Banana Poke Cake.
I have a few more but I won’t list them all but I think you get the idea!
Tons of banana flavor in these cookies thanks to the banana and the banana extract plus the chocolate chips will make it hard to only eat one of these cookies! You’re going to want to keep all of these for yourself but share them!
The best part of baking is sharing right?
