Have you heard about dump cakes? These cakes have been around for years but I’ve noticed that they’ve gotten a lot more popular online over the past few years. This cake that I have here for y’all today is a homemade version! Normally a dump cake is made with cake mix but I’ve got a super simple recipe for you to make it from scratch!

- frozen blueberries
- fresh blueberries
- Dixie Crystals Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
- all purpose flour
- baking powder
- salt
- cinnamon
- unsalted butter

How to make Blueberry Dump cake From Scratch:
This is going to be pretty easy to make, so lets get started!
Go ahead and start to preheat your oven to 350F.
You’re going to use both the frozen blueberries and the fresh blueberries for the filling of this cake. Don’t worry, the frozen blueberries don’t need to be thawed before you toss them in.
You’ll need to mix all of the dry ingredients together to create the topping for this cake.
Then you’ll need to pour melted butter into sugar mixture and stir until crumbly. This is going to make a fantastic topping for this cake. Super easy, right?
Sprinkle mixture over blueberries and bake it up until nice and bubbly!
Ps. it is so wonderful with vanilla ice cream or fresh whipped cream.
