A new take on homemade Lasagna! Chicken Bacon Alfredo Lasagna is layered with seasoned chicken, bacon, Alfredo, Mozzarella cheese and lasagna noodles.
I should have shared this Chicken Bacon Alfredo Lasagna recipe with y’all earlier today. Actually I probably should have shared it with you yesterday but I just wasn’t feeling myself and needed to rest a bit.
I knew you would understand.
Heck last week I only managed to share one recipe on the blog. Yikes.
So since I’m feel better today I thought that I would go ahead and share this with you!
Today is exactly what I needed. We lounged around the house this morning before slowing getting ready. Then we went a few streets over to have brunch with our family at the 616 Farm to Table restaurant and then I even got to run by the antique shop.
Not only was I able to spend a little time in the antique store but I also found two vintage Pyrex bowl; one for $4 and the other for $7. HAPPY
Now it’s time to relax for a little bit before we start to prepare for the upcoming work week. Of course relaxing with a bit of comfort food is even better, right?
Let me tell you something, if you love Alfredo sauce this is going to be a favorite of yours from now on. I absolutely love Alfredo sauce with pasta; it’s so dang good. So this Chicken Bacon Alfredo Lasagna is right up my ally.
We all know how much I love chicken and pasta, right? haha
For this lasagna, you’re going to layer and bake it up just like a regular lasagna so don’t fret about it being complicated or anything. It’s really easy to make. I hope y’all love it! If you give it a try, be sure to come back and leave me a comment to let me know how it was!
Chicken Bacon Alfredo Lasagna
A new take on homemade Lasagna! Chicken Bacon Alfredo Lasagna is layered with seasoned chicken, bacon, Alfredo, Mozzarella cheese and lasagna noodles. Preheat oven to 375F. Chop chicken into bite sized pieces. Heat Olive oil on medium heat and add chicken. Season with your favorite chicken seasoning - 2 tsp. (I used Badia Complete Seasoning). Cook chicken for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until done. Set chicken aside. In a large bowl, mix together the ricotta, eggs, garlic powder and chicken seasoning. Cook the noodles in a large pot of salted boiling water for about 12-14 minutes. Remove from water, drain and lay flat on a baking sheet. Brush with a little olive oil on both sides to keep the noodles from sticking. In a 9x13 pan, spread a little Alfredo sauce over the bottom of the pan Lay three noodles across the pan. Spread some of the ricotta mixture on the noodles. Sprinkle with some chicken, some bacon. Top with some Alfredo and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Continue the layers, ending with a layer of mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and place under the broiler for 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Let sit about 5-10 minutes, slice and serve.

Sounds like it was a lovely weekend, yay for brunch with family and antiquing! 🙂 This looks so good – love how creamy and cheesy it is!
I want to make sure I understand the recipe. Should the 2 tsp. of chicken seasoning be used when sauteing the chicken and the tablespoon be put into the ricotta mixture? Thank you Angie & this sounds wonderful!! I actually have Badia Complete Seasoning & really like it.
Yep! Or you can use as much or as little as you like. It’s a lot of ricotta cheese in this recipe so I didn’t want it to be bland. A friend introduce me to Badia Complete Seasoning a while ago and we love it.
Love this twist on lasagna and Alfredo! Going to have to try this very soon!
I love this recipe! So yummy!
Obviously, I will be taking this ASAP! SO much yum!!!
I love finding cheap vintage dishes. this looks yummy by the way
My two favorite comfort foods (alfredo and lasagna) put together into one amazing dish? I’m in love! This looks heavenly!
Hello comfort food! YUM!!
What kind of Alfredo sauce do you use?
For smaller amounts I make my own.
This sounds really good and looks so creamy.
For the one pictured I just used the walmart jarred alfredo but it’s perfect with homemade alfredo too. You can use which ever kind or brand you like. 🙂
This recipe combines literally all of my favorite things: bacon, cheese and lasagna!
Such a terrific lasagna recipe!! My family will really, reeeally love this!
So creamy!! I love the chicken and Alfredo twist on such a family pleasing meal!
I only ever post one recipe a week and I like it. 😀 Except yesterday was my first post in 2 weeks. Whoops. And this lasagna looks SO good!
Adding this to my weekly meal plan soon! My family would go crazy for this. 🙂
Oh YUM! I think this could easily become a new family favorite!
I have just about everything that I would need to make this! I love the combination of chicken and bacon!
Such a great idea! My family will love this for a warm weeknight meal for sure.
This is literally the best lasagna I’ve ever seen in my life! I do like normal lasagna, but it’s not my favourite. This though? Looks so perfect!!
DO I COOK THE BACON BEFORE ORWHILE BAKING THE LASAGNA?
Before…You need it cooked before you add it inside the Lasagna. If you cook it while the lasagna is baking you won’t be able to put it inside the lasagna.
Going to make this for Christmas Eve. 3 pounds seems like a lot of chicken?
It’s not really a lot for a huge pan of Lasagna. 3 pounds isn’t that much chicken at all. Maybe it’s a lot if just one person were to try to eat 3 pounds of chicken alone but this lasagna makes about 8 servings in a large 9×13 pan and it’s still not really over loaded with chicken. 3 pounds is about 5 regular size chicken breasts (not the ginormous ones). You can use less if you want to.
Thanks for the quick reply! I guess I was thinking of my traditional lasagna which calls for 2 pounds of meat. I’ll use 3. Looking forward to it.
It does take longer than 30 minutes for it bake.
Guess it depends on the oven, Pam. When I make it here, it only takes 30 minutes in the oven.
Can you make this ahead of time and freeze it? if so, how long do you think it would take to cook?
Hey Becky,
I’ve never frozen this particular one but I have frozen and cooked lasagnas before and what I normally do it cover them with foil and bake them at 350 for about an hour and 30 minutes or until they’re super hot in the middle.
Could i use oven ready noodles?
Probably. I’ve never used those before but from what I know about them I think that they should work fine 🙂
This looks so yummy that I am making it tomorrow for family Sunday supper! If using Badia Complete Seasoning, use caution if sodium is a concern as it contains MSG and salt. I cooked the chicken tonight to get a head start and used this seasoning. It has a lovely flavor and doesn’t seem salty at all. I just want to give a heads up to others that are also watching sodium intake. My hub was recently diagnosed with high BP, so scrutinizing labels for sodium is still new for us. Once I realized this I looked up the seasoning and there is a non-MSG version available on Amazon. It’s probably available in some local stores too.
Hope y’all love the Lasagna. Yes, the Badia Complete Seasoning does have MSG and salt but it’s not a requirement for the recipe (as anyone can switch it up to whichever seasoning mix they love) and I do encourage my readers to always use what’s best for them. We use it only a few times a month so it’s ok for us 🙂 The non-MSG version sounds perfect! I’ll have to order some of that too!
Could I half this recipe for one person?
You can! <3 You can also freeze portions to reheat later if you need to.
