Tomorrow we’re going to another “Ugly Sweater Party” and just like last year I’m totally not ready. I mean up until a few days ago I didn’t even know it was an “Ugly Sweater Party”! So technically it isn’t my fault that I’m not prepared. I’m blaming Thomas for this mix up because he’s the one that failed to mention that this was no ordinary Christmas Party!
Last year I made Thomas rush out to the store the day of the party and search for stuff that I could make “Ugly sweaters” with and we ended up with some pretty tacky Christmas sweaters to wear to the party haha. This year I think I’m just going to have to go with a regular sweater because I’m tired.
Oh and not only am I tired but it’s suppose to be like 70 degrees this weekend so it’s probably not even going to be cold enough for a sweater. Welcome to the South, where it’s freezing cold one day in December and then the next day you’re wearing short sleeves.
Even though I’m tired and 100% un-prepared for the party I still asked Thomas if he thought I should make some of these snowmen to take with us. Why? Oh because I like to torture myself, that’s why. haha
They’re just so adorable that I feel like they HAVE to make it to the party!
We’ll see if they actually get made. But just in case you’re not ridiculously tired this week and you’re ready to make a festive but easy little dessert I’m totally ready to share these Chocolate Covered Snowman S’more Sandwiches with you!!
So what are you going to need? Well, you’re going to need a bit of what’s in that photo up there.
- Graham Crackers
- Chocolate bar rectangles (or Chocolate Spread)
- Marshmallow Fluff
- Mini Chocolate Chips – for the buttons (or mini M&Ms)
- Orange Gummy Candies – for the nose
- Oreos – for the hat
- Mini Oreos – for the hat
- AirHead Candies Strips or Twizzlers for the Scarf
- White chocolate candy melts
Top the Marshmallow Fluff and Chocolate Graham Cracker Rectangles with a Marshmallow Fluff Graham Cracker Rectangles to make a sandwich.
Cut up a strip of the AirHead Candies Strips or Twizzlers for the Scarf. Use a bit of the melted chocolate to glue the scarf onto the snowman.
Let Chocolate harden before serving.
That’s pretty easy if you ask me, plus, who doesn’t love a good s’more dessert! Now if you don’t want to use mini chocolate chips and air heads that’s fine too!
Replace the mini chocolate chips with mini red and green M&Ms for the buttons,
Tie on a red twizzler for the scarf,
and you’re got a different look for your little Chocolate Covered Snowman S’more Sandwiches!
How cute are these snowmen! Cute and tasty!
And look at the inside! Mashmallow and Chocolate!
Now before you go make sure to scroll down and enter the giveaway! We’ve had this huge giveaway going on all week and it’ll be ending soon!
I don’t want you to miss out on a chance to win!
