Ingredients For This Valentine’s Day Charcuterie Board:
What is a Charcuterie Board? A charcuterie board is a platter of cured meats, cheeses, and other accompaniments. The word “charcuterie” comes from the French word for traditional 15th-century meat preservation methods.
It seems that these days though, anyone will put anything on a board and call it a Charcuterie Board. haha
So What Can I add to my Charcuterie Board? You’ll want to add a variety of sweet and savory items, such as meats, cheeses, fruits, nuts, crackers, and spreads. You can see in the pictures that we turned some of the pepperoni slices into roses and sliced some of the strawberries open so that they would look like hearts.
