Welcome to Meal Plan Monday #72 where you can find all kinds of recipe ideas for lunch and dinner! Which new recipe will be hitting your table this week?
It’s another week and another Meal Plan Monday! I’m so glad that you’re loving the new recipes that you’re finding during Meal Plan Mondays! I just love reading the comments and e-mails from y’all when you take the time to leave me a note letting me know that you’ve found a new family favorite.
I know I’ve been getting a lot of great ideas from this meal plan. Sometimes I feel like I can plan my entire week’s worth of meals from the recipes ideas here alone. Makes for a pretty easy weekend of meal planning.

We have an amazing selection of features that were favorites from last week.  There’s also an all new lineup of recipes shared by bloggers that will surely inspire your week ahead. So let’s get started Y’all!
This Week’s Features…
Possum Pie from Food and Forte
Yes, you read that right! This recipe had a lot of interest last week. Rest assured, this decadent dessert has no possum in it and is dubbed the “Secret State Pie of Arkansas”.
Grandmother’s Hamburger Steak w/ Gravy from Cooking With K
A Southern classic of hamburger steaks coated in flour and fried up in a little oil. The drippings are then used to make a wonderful pan gravy!
Super Salad from Big Rigs ‘n Lil’ Cookies
This creamy pasta salad is a crowd pleaser and easy to make in big batches for gatherings.
Honey Buttermilk Bread from Restless Chipotle
An easy recipe even for the beginner cook. Great for making sandwiches and the house will smell great as it bakes!
Our Host Recipe…

Smothered Chicken from Julia’s Simply Southern
We love our fried foods in the South and we love gravy too. Marrying these two into a dish is surely something special. Perfect with fluffy mashed potatoes or rice!

Meet Angie

I love the Farmer’s Market and Farm to Table meals but I’m also not ashamed to use canned vegetables and baking mixes. It’s all about balance! I’m so glad y’all are here!
