I am not a planner, well I guess I should say that I am a procrastinator. I can plan stuff, I will start planning for trips or projects weeks if not months in advance. It’s the actual “doing” part that I procrastinate on. I like to pretend that stress makes me a better worker but it’s really just because I take on too much at once and convince myself that I can do it all.
The party that I made these “Milk and Cookie” Chocolate Covered Marshmallows for is a good example. Crystal and I started planning months in advance but it wasn’t until the week before the party that I started working on stuff for it. Well in my defense I had to bake a bunch of cookies for the party so it’s not like I could really make those ahead of time 😉
Anyways the point is, I made these like 2 months ago, photographed them and then……..forgot to write about them. I was so excited about them that I just HAD to share them with you and then got busy and kept pushing them off and now look…. it’s January 9th and I’m just now posting them. Shame. Shame Shame.
The only good thing about waiting to post them is that I can actually post something today haha. Since I’ve been sick I have not been in the kitchen much at all. Well, not being in the kitchen means no cooking which in turn means no blogging. Sad, Sad times.
But thanks to my procrastination I have something to share with you today! And to be honest I have a few more things to share with you too that I made a while ago and just haven’t shared yet…. geezzz what’s wrong with me?!?!
Oh and just so everyone knows…that virus that’s going around is no joke. It will literally knock you out of commission for a good couple of days and if you get EXTRA lucky like me you might get a cold right after it and be sick for ANOTHER week!
But let’s hope that doesn’t happen. Because I don’t wish this on anyone!
So if you are feeling down or run down and need a cute little pick me up these cute little “Milk and Cookie” Chocolate Covered Marshmallows would surely brighten your day! I made these to go into Hot Chocolate for my god-daughter’s birthday party. I was inspired by these “Milk and Cookie” cake pops that I saw over at Bubble and Sweet Blog.
I used mini peppermint sticks for my “straws” and it looks like Bubble and Sweet Blog made little straws with red and white fondant. She also mini chips ahoy for hers. I used Cookie Crisp Cereal for mine 🙂
Now her cake pops are beyond adorable but if you’re a procrastinator like me and need them in a hurry “Milk and Cookie” Chocolate Covered Marshmallows take hardly no time to make! 🙂
