Back in November ,when I went away for the weekend to attend Mixed, BigBear and his friend got to work and redid the floor in our kitchen! I just had to brag on him a bit and show off the new floor 🙂

When we first moved in the kitchen had an old floor that was starting to turn colors and just needed to be replaced. No matter how much I cleaned and scrubbed, it looked rough.

I knew the only way BigBear would be able to re do the floor would be if I stayed out of the kitchen completely.

So when Mixed Conference came, it was the perfect excuse to remove myself from the house for a few days 😉

I came home to beautiful new floors! White tile with a little bit of gray running through them to match my walls. When we moved in the walls where yellow. I highly dislike yellow haha so I knew I had to change those. 🙂

The week before we moved in. We were cleaning and stripping wallpaper in the other room

We also hadn’t changed those purple looking blinds haha because we just hadn’t “had the time” and he changed those out for some pretty white ones to go with the new floor!

I’ve still got to finish the walls in the kitchen but I’m not sure when that will happen. Oh and I’m going to install a new light too!

Doesn’t that look so much better?!? I love the new floors!! (and the new blinds haha) The kitchen looks so much brighter and the white light bounces off of everything perfectly!

It’s the perfect kitchen for a food blogger now! Lots of white to bounce the light off of for photos hahaha.

I think he did a pretty good job 🙂 Thank you honey!!
