Thomas got me a NINJA blender for Christmas the and I’ve been in smoothie heaven! My favorite smoothie ever is a Strawberry Banana Smoothie!
I use to get them from a place here called Juice Moose when I was in college. I loved it and I pretty much went there almost every other day for lunch. I mean really, Strawberry Banana Smoothie is probably the best smoothie flavor there is….. unless your like Thomas and dislike strawberries…. or like his grandma and dislike bananas…. well then I suppose you wouldn’t think that the Strawberry Banana Smoothie is the best.
However, if you are like me and love Strawberry and Banana together, let me show you how I make my favorite Strawberry Banana Smoothie.
Quick Glance at ingredients for Strawberry Banana Smoothie:

How to make a Strawberry Banana Smoothie:
One quick note before we get started. If you want this smoothie to be super cold, make sure to pop the sliced strawberries and bananas into the freezer the night before so that they will be frozen when you get ready to make this smoothie.
If you don’t want to freeze the fruit or forget to toss it into the freezer, you can toss in a few ice cubes to the blender instead.
Wash, hull and slice strawberries. Peel and slice banana.
Pop the fruit into a high power blender and then add in the Greek yogurt and apple juice.
If you don’t care for Greek yogurt you can use regular vanilla yogurt instead.
Put on the top and blend until smooth.
Pour into a glass and enjoy!
So, What’s your favorite Smoothie Flavor? Do you make them at home or do you have a Juice Bar close by?

Strawberry Banana Smoothie FAQ:
- Can I use milk instead of apple juice? You sure can! You can use dairy milk, almond milk or soy milk for this smoothie.
- Is it better to use frozen fruit in smoothies? If you want your smoothie to be extra frosty, you should use frozen fruit. If you don’t want to use frozen fruit in your smoothie or forget to freeze the fruit, you can add ice cubes to the blender when making the smoothie instead.

Yummy! It looks delicious! How exciting to be going to Hawaii! I’ve been there once and it’s still one of my favorite places in the world!! I hope you are feeling better soon. I’ve been down w/ a cold/flu too. Yucky!
I’ve only been once too, but I went to Maui. Honolulu this time and it’s hubby’s first time going so I’m EXTRA excited for that!
Simple smoothies are the best. This is a good one. Your photography is great, too. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
Have SO MUCH FUN in Hawaii, Angie! I’ve never been there, but it’s right there at the top of my bucket list. (And strawberry banana smoothies are my favorite!)
Come on Brenda, I’ll pack you in my carry on 😉
An even lower calorie solution I use is strawberries, bananas, and diet Sierra mist. I know soda isn’t healthy, but it is fewer calories. Strawberry banana is my fave too!
oo I’ll have to give that a try!
