Quick 2 Ingredient Biscuits

THIS WEEK’S CRAVINGS Linky Party #56
The Theme is: Thanksgiving dishes and Desserts
(Please share with us your favorite Thanksgiving Recipes)

I have so many favorite Thanksgiving recipes, I don’t think I could pick a true favorite. It’s true!
I love to cook, so thanksgiving is like an extra extra special holiday for me because I get to cook like there’s no tomorrow.

I’ve shared a lot of my favorite thanksgiving recipes with you already…. ok well I’ve shared pretty much all of them on this site. But I today I wanted to share with you a super quick biscuit recipe to use for thanksgiving when you’re using all your other baking and cooking time for bigger dishes 🙂

Plus, they only require 2 Ingredients.

They are perfect with butter or jam.

Make sure to watch them close though, you don’t want to over bake them and let them dry out. (But a little more butter can always fix a drier biscuit hee hee)

Quick 2 Ingredient Biscuits
Makes about 24
(Printable Recipe Here)
What you need:

2  cups self-rising flour
1  cup heavy cream

What to do:

Pre-heat oven to 450F.

In a large bowl mix together the flour and cream.

Turn out onto a floured surface and knead for 5-10 minutes or until no longer sticky.

(you may need to add a tiny bit more flour while kneading to keep it from getting sticky again)

Flour the surface again roll dough to a 1/2 inch thickness.

Cut into biscuits and place on to a greased baking sheet.

Bake at 450F for 8 to 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool.

Meet Angie

I love the Farmer’s Market and Farm to Table meals but I’m also not ashamed to use canned vegetables and baking mixes. It’s all about balance! I’m so glad y’all are here!
