Easy to make and easy to eat! Rattlesnake Bite Hot Dog Appetizers need to be front and center at your Halloween Party this year!

Sponsored post by Lunchbox.

Rattlesnake Bite Hot Dog Appetizers

I can’t believe that Halloween is almost here. I mean literally we have less than a week and Halloween will be banging on our doors. Do you know what’s sad about that? I’m totally not prepared.

This Halloween Queen has failed. All of my Halloween decorations are still packed up in boxes, I have one witch hat out and I literally just bought pumpkins today and got my nails painted ‘Halloween Colors” this evening. What in the world!

I can’t even begin to tell you how disappointed I am. I should have myself together. I should have the apartment decorated and I should have a Halloween party planned. My evenings should be filled with Halloween movies, my kitchen should be over flowing with Halloween treats and I should be walking around the house humming Halloween music.

I’m so behind. 🙁

I’m late on everything. I’m looking for the easiest spooky treats that I can conjure up this year.

I don’t even know who I am anymore. haha.

Since I’m behind on everything Halloween, I’m hoping that some of you are as well haha. I’d like to not be alone in this adventure. 😉

Maybe you’re not behind, maybe you’re totally, 100% ready for Halloween and you’re missing that one perfect food for your Halloween party…… maybe you’ve totally got yourself put together right now haha.

Rattlesnake Bite Hot Dog Appetizers

Either way, let’s band together and make a super easy Halloween Appetizer!

If I could think of one thing that’s creepier that anything it would be a snake. That’s why I picked the “Rattlesnake Bite Hot Dog Appetizers” from the Kraft Halloween Survival Guide!

It’s easy and snakes scare the beegeezes out of me. Beegeezes…it may be a made up word but it’s exactly how I feel about snakes. So if I need something spooky for Halloween, I’m going for snakes!

Rattlesnake Bite Hot Dog Appetizers

This Rattlesnake Bite Hot Dog Appetizer is made with OSCAR MAYER Jalapeño Dogs and large refrigerated flaky biscuits! Those Jalapeño Dogs have a little but of spice to jazz up any Halloween party table! I also sliced up some green olives for the eyes and added a little pepperoni tongue!

Rattlesnake Bite Hot Dog Appetizers

Created by Angie on August 19, 2016

Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Jalapeño Dogs
  • 1 can (16.3 oz.) large refrigerated flaky biscuits (8 biscuits)
  • (I also used green olives and a piece of pepperoni for the eyes and tongue)

Instructions

  • HEAT oven to 375ºF.
  • PAT hot dogs dry with paper towel. Separate biscuits. Cut each hot dog and biscuit into quarters; press biscuits to flatten slightly.
  • PLACE 1 hot dog piece on center of each biscuit piece; bring 2 opposite corners of biscuit over hot dog, then press points together to seal.
  • ARRANGE 16 wrapped hot dog pieces in \"s\" shape on baking sheet to resemble snake, leaving no spaces between pieces.
  • Repeat on second baking sheet with remaining wrapped hot dog pieces.
  • BAKE 15 min. or until golden brown.
