Ready, Set, It’s Thanksgiving: Let’s check out some new products, chat about Being Thankful and I’ve got some Thanksgiving Entertaining Tips for y’all too!
I have so much to be Thankful for this year, y’all.
- We welcomed our son, Jackson, into the world this past September.
- We’re still living in our amazing apartment downtown.
- Thomas and I are both blessed with wonderful jobs.
- We have food in the pantry and we’ve no longer counting pennies to buy that food.
- Our family is healthy and happy.
- We have two wonderful puppies (that are still jealous of the new baby haha).
- I am lucky enough to be able to work from home so that I can be here with our little guy.
Today’s post is sponsored by an amazing brand called BabbleBoxx, brands like this are the reason that I get to stay at home and raise our son.
You may remember a post I wrote back in the Summer called “An Easy Guide to Summertime Outdoor Entertaining“, what was also sponsored by BabbleBoxx. Throughout the year, BabbleBox sends out boxes to Bloggers and Influencers that are filled with different products. We then review them, photograph them and tell y’all about them.
This BabbleBoxx was all about Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Entertaining. So let’s get to this, shall we. 🙂
Petlanthropy Donation Gift Card
We are 100% in love with our dogs, Jasper and Bella. I rescued Jasper when he was just 6 months old and he moved with me to North Carolina when Thomas and I got married. Then along came Bella, she and Jasper kept me sane while Thomas was deployed overseas.
When Thomas got out of the military, the four of us moved back to Virginia and for the past 10 years, these little pups have been our children.
I love them so much and I’m so thankful to have them in our lives. I would love for every puppy and kitten out there to have a loving home just like Jasper and Bella do. I was so happy to see this Petlanthropy Donation Gift Card! The Petlanthropy Donation Gift Card is the perfect gift for any animal lover (like my sister in law!)
All you have to do is visit Petlanthropy.org to purchase a gift card to help local homeless puppies, dogs, cats and kittens. After November 24 your friend or family member can use their Petlanthropy Donation Gift Card unique code on the Petlanthropy website to donate that amount to a local animal shelter project or donation page of their choice.
How wonderful is that! I’ll be donating my gift card to the Danville Area Humane Society!
Solid Gold – Superfoods Chewy Dog Treats
Since we’re on the subject of Jasper and Bella, let’s talk about these Solid Gold – Superfoods Chewy Dog Treats with Turkey, Sweet Potato and Cinnamon! I love finding new treats for Jasper and Bella.
I buy homemade treats from the farmer’s market and I buy dog treats from the store since the pups seem to like to have a variety at the house. We’ve totally spoiled them and every time we come home or they come back inside from their morning and evening walks they demand treats. haha.
With that being said, I’m also pretty cautious when getting treats for them because they can be mighty picky. Plus I do love to get them grain free dog treats when I can.
I didn’t need to worry though. The pups scarfed down these natural dog treats and begged for more. These little treats were like Thanksgiving dinner for the puppies! haha They loved them!
If you’ve got pups at home, check out these treats! I bet they’ll love them! Want a coupon? Click here to grab one!
Sipp Sparkling Organic Drink
Up next we’ve got Sipp Sparkling Organic Drink!
Thanksgiving Day Tip:
- Set up an appetizer station away from the kitchen that includes things like Feta Cheddar Naan Bites, Bacon Cheese Dip, & Homemade Pimento Cheese and crackers! Also set out a bowl of punch or a bowl of ice stocked with drinks like these Mojo Berry Sipp Sparkling Organic Drinks.
- This will keep people entertained while you finish dinner and it will keep them out of the kitchen and out from under your feet!
You know what I loved about this Sipp Sparkling Organic Drink? I loved it because it made me feel like I was drinking a fancy cocktail without having to drink a cocktail.
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE a good cocktail but when I’m at home with the newborn, I can’t exactly enjoy Happy Hour now can I? haha. So these are perfect. Plus I love the blackberry flavor of this!
I’m going to have to stock up on some of these for the Holidays!
You know which recipes would pair great with this Mojo Berry Sipp Sparkling Organic Drink? These would be awesome with it:
- Slow Cooker Braised Short Ribs
- Island Jerk Pork Sandwiches
- Roast Beef Grilled Cheese
- Grilled Corn with Chili Lime Butter
Clean Cocktails for the Modern Mixologist
By Tara Roscioli & Beth Ritter Nydick
from Blue Barn Kitchen Publishing
Speaking of cocktails, let’s take a look at this cocktail book that I will be enjoying when it’s time for mommy to enjoy cocktail hour again! The cocktails in this book are unlike the sugar filled cocktails that you might be use to on the bar scene.
These cocktails are refreshing and made with fresh juices, sweeteners like honey and maple syrup plus spices.
If you’re looking for a great Thanksgiving cocktail, give the “Berry Berry Rosemary” on page 82 a try! Oranges and rosemary have always made me think of the holidays, so when I saw them in the ingredients list I knew this was the holiday cocktail for me!
Plus it’s got blackberries in it and we all know that I love blackberries!
Thanksgiving Day Tip:
- Make cocktails in pitches and have them sitting out with glasses and ice for guests to pour their own cocktails.
- Set cute glasses for guests as well as fresh fruit and fresh herbs for garnish!

Edible Arrangements – Autumn Harvest Dipped Fruit Trio™
Last but not least, let me tell you about something that brought a huge smile to my face and flooded my mind with sweet memories. This Edible Arrangements® package couldn’t have shown up at a better time. This tired momma was overwhelmed, and exhausted. My sweet boy had been super fussy that day and my nerves were shot.
However, this sweet package showed up and it gave me just enough of a push to make it through the rest of the day. 😉
Not only was I so thankful to receive such a beautiful gift but it also brought back lots of great memories.
When we lived at Camp Lejeune, I use to order Edible Arrangements® for family members all the time. Whenever we had family come down to visit and they were celebrating something, I would order an Edible Arrangement and have it delivered to them at the house. I ordered quite a few Edible Arrangements® for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Birthdays when my parents were visiting. I loved the look on their faces when the door bell rung and there was a beautiful Edible Arrangement waiting for them when we swung open the door.
I haven’t had an Edible Arrangement in FOREVER. I haven’t been able to order them to be delivered here since we moved home because we don’t have a store here. However, I found out that I may not be able to order the big arrangements but I and order their gift boxes because they can ship those! How perfect!
Looks like I’m going to be ordering some Edible Arrangements® again! How perfect would an Edible Arrangement be for Thanksgiving!
Now the big beautiful arrangements would be amazing on a Thanksgiving table as Thanksgiving dessert but this wonderful Autumn Harvest Dipped Fruit Trio™ gift box that I got would make a perfect hostess gift!
What host or hostess wouldn’t love to receive a Autumn Harvest Dipped Fruit Trio™ gift box as a Thanksgiving day gift.
Edible Arrangements® has last minute options available too! You can order all the way up until the DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING! (11/22)
The Autumn Harvest Dipped Fruit Trio™ gift box includes:
- Chocolate dipped strawberries with festive orange swizzle
- Chocolate and caramelized hazelnut covered bananas
- Salted caramel apple wedges
Let me tell you something, normally I’m all about the chocolate covered strawberries. I love chocolate covered apples too, but y’all, these bananas were out of this world amazing!
At first I thought they were marshmallows, however it turns out they were chocolate and caramelized hazelnut covered bananas! Oh my, y’all, chocolate and caramelized hazelnut covered bananas might be my new favorite dessert!

Thanksgiving Day Tip:
- Bring a Host gift! If you’re having Thanksgiving lunch or dinner at a friend or family member’s house this year make sure to take them a host gift! It’s a kind gesture that says, “Thank you for opening up your house to us and for hosting Thanksgiving!”
- Ps. Do this for any holiday party, not just Thanksgiving!
