Weekly Meal Plan 040416-main

So, I want to know! How are you liking the Weekly Meal Plans that I’ve been posting on Sundays? I know that y’all aren’t going to make every recipe that’s on the list for the week but I’m loving the ideas.

I’m getting really bad about getting these meal plans up first thing on Sunday mornings. The weeks and weekends have just been so crazy around here that I feel like I’m stuck in the middle of a tornado. haha A week of work, a week of blog stuff on top of that was follow up with a super busy Friday and Saturday! Those were two fabulous days to finished up the week with but still. whoo weee.

Friday we finished up work for the week, got home around 5pm, changed and got ready for an evening out downtown. We met up with a few of our neighbors and walked over to the market for drinks and music. The band, while dressed like they just stepped out of the 1920s, played all kinds of music through the evening, lights and fog machine included. haha We had a few drinks and then walked to main street to Me’s Burgers for a super late dinner.  Downtown living is the best, y’all. A whole night of going out and we didn’t have to get into a car at all haha.

Yesterday I got up early, baked and decorated like 50 cookies for the #TealforToni BBQ Cancer Benefit that was done for my best friend’s sister, Toni. (psst. I turned my famous Chocolate Dipped Robin Egg Cookies into these Cancer Awareness cookies!)

After I got those done, I went over to help my brother and his fiancee paint on their new home before running to my place to shower and get dressed up. Then it was onto North Carolina for the BBQ event where we had dinner, mingled with friends before we headed back to the apartment to celebrate our dog’s birthday. haha YES, I totally celebrate dog birthdays. Hey, I don’t have kids sooo these pups are celebrating their birthdays, dang-it! 😉 Yesterday was Jasper’s 10th birthday. 🙂 I just love him.

Happy Birthday, Jasper!!

So that was my weekend, I’m still trying to unwind from last week and prepare for this week! I swear…..these weekends just aren’t long enough!

Meet Angie

I love the Farmer’s Market and Farm to Table meals but I’m also not ashamed to use canned vegetables and baking mixes. It’s all about balance! I’m so glad y’all are here!
