I made these for the Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap 2011
It’s time for the 1st Annual Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap, hosted by Julie of The Little Kitchen and Lindsay of Love and Olive Oil.
I am so excited to be a part of the Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap this year! I love the food blogging community! So what is the Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap?
Back in November Bloggers from all over the world signed up to be a part of the 1st Annual Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap on Julie’s site, The Little Kitchen and on Lindsay’s site, Love and Olive Oil.
Then Julie and Lindsay mixed up all of the names and secretly gave each blogger the names and addresses of 3 other bloggers.
Once we received our names, we were to start baking our cookies!
Each blogger baked 3 dozen cookies and packaged up 1 dozen for each name they received, and shipped them off.
So I baked 3 dozen White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut Crasin Cookies (ok, really I baked like 9 dozen… I had to share with family and friends after they found out what kind I was making), I packed them up, and shipped them out.
Then I got 3 dozen cookies from 3 other wonderful bloggers!
(I’ve got pictures of the cookies I got and links to their blogs at the end of this post)
THANK YOU!!!

These were some of the best cookies that I think I’ve ever made for the holidays. My family loved them. Not to mention I had to keep fighting Big Bear Off of them while I was trying to bake them for the cookie swap.
My cookies went to: Katie’s Cucina, Rosy girl baked goods, and Carrie’s Sweet Life
Well of course that mean that I got 3 dozen cookies in the mail from other bloggers
I LOVED ALL THREE of the types of cookies that showed up at my door. And yes I did share them
My first package to arrive was from
Courtney from Sweet Tooth Sweet Life
Courtney Made Black and White Chocolate Peppermint Cookies.
They came in a cute little cookie tin with a sweet little card!
My second package to arrive was from:
Jill from Home Sweet Hopkins
Jill made Tuxedo Brownie Hug Cookies.
They came in a red sack with snowflakes on it and a cute tub and a handmade card!
My Third package to arrive was from Tran from Think Tran
Tran Made made Rocky Road Cookies.
They came in a cute cookie tub with a sweet card, glittery ornament and homemade hot chocolate with peppermint marshmallows on a stick!
Thank you everyone!!!
