Ready for this week’s Finishing Up Friday Menu Plan? We are!

So what’s the game plan?

This week we’re diving into a fall themed menu because fall is almost here!!

This Friday’s main course is going to be a nice large pot of homemade chili that is super easy to toss together. We do like to simmer this chili for about an hour or two, so you may want to make this chili Thursday night and just heat it up on Friday evening. Or start it as soon as you get home and you can be doing other task while it simmers away.

This chili is being paired with some delicious southern cornbread and easy baked potatoes.

Plus we’re finishing the meal up with a pumpkin angel food roll cake! Its easy to make, don’t worry!

This Friday’s Menu:

Thomas’ Easy Chili Recipe – This is our favorite chili recipe and it’s so easy to make! Thomas’ Easy Chili Recipe is full of flavor and goes perfectly with a side of homemade cornbread!

Southern Cornbread – Southern Skillet Cornbread – There is just something warm and comforting about a plate of warm southern cornbread and a softened stick of butter sitting on the table. This recipe is our favorite cornbread recipe!

Baked Potatoes  – Baked Potatoes can be made in the oven, Microwave or Air Fryer! Need topping ideas for the baked potatoes? Keep it simple with butter and sour cream or add bacon bits and cheese too!

Angel Food Cake Pumpkin Roll – A super simple dessert made of Angel Food Cake and Pumpkin Puree mixed together and rolled with cheesecake filling in the middle!

Meet Angie

I love the Farmer’s Market and Farm to Table meals but I’m also not ashamed to use canned vegetables and baking mixes. It’s all about balance! I’m so glad y’all are here!
