These Monster Cookies are peanut butter cookies, stuffed with chocolate chips and M&MS candies with the occasional candy eye for decoration!
This recipe was created for Dixie Crystals by BigBear’sWife, post and words written are 100% mine as always.
These are some of the easiest and tastiest cookies that we’ve made in a while. Easy peanut butter cookies, packed with M&M candies and chocolate chips have the option to be amazing on their own but can also celebrate Halloween when you add little candy eyes to them!
Monster cookies all year round…. I’m ok with that!

How To Make Monster Cookies:
-
Preheat the oven and get ready to make the dough.
-
You can use a stand mixer or a spoon and bowl for this dough, although I prefer a stand mixer or an electric mixer.
If you’re using SUPER soft room temperature butter, it should be no issue at all to mix everything with a bowl and spoon. -
Combine cookie dough recipe ingredients together (recipe link below).
-
Shape dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place 2 inches apart on an un-greased cookie sheet. You can also use a parchment paper lined baking sheet which is what I prefer.
You can use a cookie scoop or a tablespoon to measure these tablespoons of dough. I find about 1 tablespoon is the right amount/size. -
Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are light brown. I like mine baked at 8 minutes.
-
Remove cookies from the oven and immediately slightly press cookies down a bit with a hand or a spatula.
-
Let cookies cool for about 5 minutes and then move them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
-
If using Candy eyes on cookies, to turn these Monster Cookies into Halloween Monster cookies, press them into cookies as soon as they come out of the oven.
What Is A Monster Cookie Made Of?
These Monster cookies are peanut butter cookies that are stuffed with semi-sweet chocolate chips and regular M&M candies. Some Monster cookies include oats in the recipe but I don’t like quick oats in these cookies, so I leave them out.
I also add candy eyes to my monster cookies sometimes to turn them into Halloween-themed Monster Cookies.
Cool The Cookies!
Make sure that after you press down on the cookies you let them sit on the cookie sheet for about 5 minutes to cool before you try to move them or they may fall apart.
