The Chocolate end of the waffle cone might be one of the best parts of a drumstick but now you can have that with every bite in this easy No Churn Chocolate Dipped Waffle Cone Ice Cream!
“This recipe was created for #SummerDessertWeek! I was sent samples by some of the sponsor companies but as always opinions are 100% mine.”
No churn ice cream recipes are simply the best! They’re easy to make, they don’t require an ice cream maker and you can turn them into any flavor under the sun! For #SummerDessertWeek this week I decided to make this amazing No Churn Chocolate Dipped Waffle Cone Ice Cream to share with y’all and I love it!
I’m kind of crazy about the little end of the waffle cone that is stuffed with chocolate in ice cream cones like drumsticks and nutty buddies. I don’t know why, but the combination of chocolate and waffle cone is so good!
So, I decided to take that love of chocolate ended waffle cones and turn them into a tasty ice cream! I use to be able to find an ice cream like this in stores but I haven’t seen it around here in a while…that’s ok though because I think that I might like my version better anyways.
What you’ll need to make No Churn Chocolate Dipped Waffle Cone Ice Cream:
- waffle cones
- melting chocolate or chocolate candy coating
- heavy cream
- vanilla extract
- powdered sugar
- sweet condensed milk
- caramel baking chips
- mini chocolate chips
The first step to making this No Churn Chocolate Dipped Waffle Cone Ice Cream is to make the chocolate dipped waffle cones.
Just take a few waffle cones and break them into chunks. Then melting chocolate candy coating or chocolate almond bark according to the package directions and dip the waffle cones into the melted candy.
Lay them on a flat surface and let them sit for about 10 minutes or until the chocolate had hardened. I dipped some pieces half way and some pieces are completely covered.
Making the no churn ice cream:
While you don’t need an ice cream mixer for this ice cream you do need an electric mixer.
A stand mixer or an electric hand mixer will work for this recipe.
Using an electric mixer, whip in heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla a few minutes until stiff peaks form.
Add in the sweetened condensed milk and whisk until combined.
Add in the caramel chips and mini chocolate chips. Reserve a few chocolate chips to decorate the top of the ice cream.
Mix that all together and then fold in chocolate dipped waffle cone pieces.
Make sure to reserve a few pieces of chocolate dipped waffle cone to decorate the top of the ice cream.
Spoon the ice cream mixture into a loaf pan and top it with the rest a few mini chocolate chips and chocolate dipped waffle cone pieces.
Freeze for several hours or overnight until frozen.
I really like to let no churn ice cream freeze overnight before trying to scoop it out. I just think it turns out better that way.
After it’s had it’s time to chill in the freezer it’s time to scoop and enjoy!
In a chocolate dipped waffle cone or in a bowl, either way you’re going to love this easy ice cream!
