My husband loves pizza and could eat it every day without complaint. He also liked pizza flavored meals, like Baked Pizza Mozzarella Stuffed Chicken, Baked Egg and Pizza Pasta. So it’s no surprise that he ate the first test plate of these little Pizza Crescent Roll Dippers as soon as they came out of the oven.
How to make Pizza Crescent Roll Dippers
These Pizza cresent rolls only take a few steps to make and about 12 minutes to bake.
Start out by rolling out each crescent roll onto a flat surface. Then, add about 1 teaspoon of marinara sauce starting at the fat part of the crescent roll.
Add about 1 tablespoon of cheese.
Top each with 3 pepperoni.
Roll up each crescent roll and place on a baking sheet.
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, Parmesan and Italian seasoning, mix well.
Brush olive oil and spice mixture over rolls.
Bake for 12 minutes.
Serve with marinara sauce for dipping. Oh and make sure you’re using a good marinara sauce.
Since you’re going to be dipping these pizza bites into the sauce and coasting them with it, you’ll want to make sure it’s not some off tasting sauce.
Make your favorite homemade sauce or use a canned sauce that you know taste good.
We tired this recipe with homemade sauce, our favorite store bought sauce and an off brand discount store sauce and the off brand one was awful.
Q&A:
- What toppings can I use inside of the Pizza Crescent Roll Dippers?
You can really use any pizza toppings that you want to use. I would try to keep it to maybe one or two toppings so that you don’t overload them. For things like mushrooms and peppers you may want to slightly cook them before adding them since these rolls only bake in the oven for about 12 minutes.
- What kind of Parmesan Cheese?
Since I was brushing this on top, I used the canned grated Parmesan cheese but you can use fresh. If you’re going to use freshly grated parm I would sprinkle it on after I brushed on the olive oil and seasonings instead of mixing it in.

When I try to print recipes off your site, it comes out looking wacky and unreadable. This is the only site that does this. Can you tell me how to fix it?
Hi Linda! Sorry it’s giving you trouble. I’m in the process of re writting them all into a new recipe card so that this won’t be an issue anymore (hopefully). If you need one now though let me know which ones and I’ll e-mail them to you 🙂
