Recipe At Bottom of Post
My little guy loves watching the Disney Channel and even if we’re not watching TV together I normally always have the Disney channel on for background noise. It’s safe for little Jackson ears and the loves to dance to the music and theme songs. He really loves the PJ Masks theme song. haha He will stop whatever he’s doing to dance to PJ Masks and Puppy Dog Pals. It’s the cutest!
So when my friends at Treat Street candi.fetti asked if they could send one of their PJ Masks Treat Décor Kit to Jackson (and me) for an afternoon of kitchen play I was more than happy to say yes.
The PJ Masks Treat Décor Kit comes 24 PJ Masks cupcake liners, 24 collectible coins and PJ Masks themed sprinkles.
This PJ Masks Treat Décor Kit is actually made for decorating cupcakes but I decided to do a little something different with our decorating kit!
We made PJ Masks Marshmallow Treats! Ok… I made PJ Masks Marshmallow Treats. Jackson played in the chocolate and ate sprinkles…but you get what I’m saying. haha
What you’ll need for PJ Masks Marshmallow Treats:
- butter
- marshmallows
- rice krispie cereal
- green candy melts
- red candy melts
- blue candy melts
- PJ Masks Treat Décor Kit (sold at Walmart & Party City)
To Decorate:
Cut treats into 16 rectangles. Melt candy melts in separate bowls according to the package directions. You’ll want to work on one treat at a time so that the chocolate doesn’t harden before you finish the decorating.
Set aside 8 treats for the blue, 8 treats for the red and 8 treats for the green melting candy.
Taking the first marshmallow treat, dip half into the blue candy melts.
Add a CatBoy coin to the center there the candy melts and marshmallow treat meet.
Add sprinkles to melted candy coating. Set aside on
Lay on a sheet of wax paper or foil to dry. (or on a flat surface like a clean cutting board or large plate.)
Continue with the rest of the blue and then do the same with the red (Owlette coins) and green (Gekko coins).
Let treats dry until candy coating is hard.
Me sure that you (and the kids) remove coins before eating 😉
