We all have busy schedules don’t we?
Even if we all have different actives and events that keep us going, a lot of us can say without hesitation that we’re almost always busy.
It could be the hours that you’re putting in at the office or the constant driving around while trying to make it to each kids game.
Maybe you’re a parent that stays at home raising your babies or perhaps you’re a parent that works outside of the house. Maybe you don’t have kids and your job is stressful with long hours. Maybe you just feel like you have the world on your shoulders and just don’t feel like you have a second to think.
Whatever the reason for being busy, it’s hectic, I know.
A while ago my friend, Sarah, was looking for freezer slow cooker meal ideas on Facebook. I only had like 2 on my blog and it got me to thinking that I also needed to find some new ideas for weeks and weekends that I could have on hand when I need something to grab from the freezer and toss into the slow cooker.
So I thought I’d reach out to some of my blogging friends and see what freezer meals for the slow cooker they recommended.
These are Slow Cooker Meals that you can literally toss into a huge ziplock bag, store in the freezer and then toss all of the ingredients into a slow cooker for dinner!
A lot of slow cooker meals can be turned into freezer meals too! Just get everything ready and then when you get to the point in the recipes that says “toss it into the slow cooker” just toss it into a huge ziplock bag instead & pop it into the freezer. Then when you’re ready to cook just start at that point in the recipe. You might have to add on a little cooking time if it’s super frozen but that’s pretty much how that works haha.
If you need some more information on freezer meals, my friend Wendy had a post on her blog about it. I’m linking to that below, but make sure to check out all of these recipes and ideas before you go!

When I first saw the Slow Cooker Braised Short Ribs recipe it also had a spice rub added to the end of it. Somehow, going back to get the recipe the link to it was broken and the recipe on your web site didn’t show the “rub” recipe. Would you be kind enough to share it again? Thank you.
Hi Karen! I fixed the link for the Slow Cooker Braised Short Ribs – here is the link 🙂 https://www.bigbearswife.com/slow-cooker-braised-short-ribs/
Was it the rub in that or another one on my blog?
I have this one on my blog – https://www.bigbearswife.com/big-bears-dry-rub-seasoning-steak/ but other than the spices on the short ribs, I think this link is the only rub I have on my site 🙂
