Can I use something other than strawberry?
Yes! These brownies would be great with a homemade blueberry sauce or a tasty raspberry sauce! I’ve already made some Blackberry Cheesecake brownies if you want to check those out!
Can I use store bought sauces?
I haven’t tried my cheesecake brownie recipes with store bought fruit sauces or jams so I can’t give a 100% yes. Sorry. However, the homemade strawberry sauce for these brownies is super simple to make and just takes a little bit of simmering on the stove top!
To Frost or not to frost?!
If you want to give these sweet brownies a extra little pop of white before you add on the strawberry sauce, they do look super adorable with a few swirls of homemade frosting on top! This Vanilla Bean Buttercream is fantastic on top of brownies!
