I made this giant Frankenstein Rice Kritpire treat for a Halloween dinner party the other year and everyone loved him. This was so easy to share with everyone for the Halloween party the other year because everyone could just break off a part of the big Frankenstein instead of me having to make a bunch of individual Frankenstein Rice Krispie Treats.
What you’ll need to make a Giant Pull Apart Frankenstein Rice Krispie Treat:
- butter
- marshmallows
- rice krispie cereal
- green food coloring
- Chocolate Candy Coating for hair and mouth
- white candy coating for eyes
- giant marshmallows for bolts sprayed with black food coloring
How to make Giant Pull Apart Frankenstein Rice Krispie Treat:
This giant pull apart rice krispie treat is pretty much made just like regular rice krispie treats EXCEPT it is going to be cut and then decorated as one giant treat.
This is kind of like a pull apart cupcake cake but wtih rice krispie treats.
Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt the butter in a large pot and add the marshmallows. Stir until they are all melted!
Add in the food coloring and stir until it turns green.
Add rice krispie cereal a little bit at a time and stir to combine.
Press rice krispie cereal into prepared baking sheet and press into a square. Press flat and let cool.
Let rice krispie treats sit for about 30 minutes.
Cut into giant square into smaller squares but don’t remove them from the pan.
Melt Chocolate according the package directions in separate bowls. Use a spoon or piping bag to add “hair” to Franks head.
Then draw a mouth with stitches.
Add white chocolate eyes and chocolate pupils to eyes.
Let the Frankenstein Rice Krispie Treats sit for about 20 minutes undisturbed or until the chocolate had hardened
When it’s time to party, just pull apart and enjoy!
