Strawberry and Banana is super a great flavor combination. It has been one of my favorites for years and I love trying new desserts with that combo.
So when this homemade Strawberry Banana Sorbet turned out as nice as it did, I knew I wanted to keep this recipe around forever.

How to make Strawberry Banana Sorbet:
Time needed: 6 hours and 5 minutes
- Prep the strawberries.
Pour frozen strawberries into the blender.
- Prep the bananas
Pour frozen banana slices into the blender.
- Honey and Water Next!
Add honey and water.
- Blend it up
Blend on high until smooth.
If not pourable, add 1/4 cup more water and blend. - Ready to freeze
Pour into a 2 quart dish and place into freezer for at least 4-6 hours.
- Scoop and Serve!
After about 4 hours you should have soft serve sorbet and then the longer it sits in the freezer the firmer it will get.
If you remove it and it seems too hard to scoop, just let it sit on the counter a few minutes.

It takes about 4-6 hours for this homemade sorbet to freeze.
Homemade sorbet will stay fresh in the freezer for about 1 month.
Sorbet has no dairy in it but sherbet does.
You sure can. Just use 1/4 cup water instead of 1/2 a cup. Or add more strawberries in place of the banana (about 1 cup extra)
Nope! You can use strawberries that are already frozen. I love the bags of frozen strawberries and bananas from the grocery store freezer section!
If you added too much water this could make the sorbet icy. We just need enough water to make it smooth.

Ingredients
- 16 ounces strawberries, hulled, sliced and frozen
- 3 bananas, peeled, sliced and frozen
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
Wash and hull strawberries.
Pour frozen strawberries into a blender.
Pour frozen banana slices to the blender.
Add honey and water.
Blend on high until smooth.
If not pourable, add 1/4 cup more water and blend.
Pour into a 2 quart dish and place into freezer for at least 4-6 hours.
Notes
If you just want strawberry sorbet, you can leave out the bananas.
You can use strawberries that are already frozen. I love the bags of frozen strawberries and bananas from the grocery store freezer section!
